Speech Labs is a small company that was born in Glasgow, Scotland born with the main mission of helping people who struggle to talk on the phone be able to do it again.

We're using artificial intelligence to feed the principle that we all deserve more from technology. Using both speech synthesis and heavily trained artifical intelligence, people with disabilities can do book tables, get a doctors appointment and more.

In a scientific report done by leading Telephone Answering Service, Face for Business UK, it was discovered that in a sample size of 500 respondants, over 62% suffered from some form of phone anxiety — formally known as Telephobia

Talking on the phone is a rather unique form of communication. It’s daunting because you are limited to the sound of the voice. You’re unable to read body language or watch someone’s social cues, which causes anxiety and confusion.
